Euganean Hills

The Euganean Hills are of volcanic origin, born as a result of underwater eruptions with effusions of basaltic lava.

The vegetation is characterized by a surprising number of plant species: Mediterranean scrubland, meadows, chestnut woods, thermophilous oaks, black locust trees.

Since 1989, they have been the first regional park in the Veneto region.

The property of Agriturismo Alto Venda borders the paths of Monte Venda and guests can walk along them for long, healthy and relaxing walks.

Some paths are particularly steep and full of rocks and we recommend the use to people equipped with appropriate boots.
